Get suitable toys for your cat
There are many types of cat toys, but not suitable for all cats, especially cats of different ages.
1. Fishing rod: The fishing rod is cheap and convenient to use, but it takes owners a little physical effort to tease the cat.
Suitable cats: All ages, except for kittens. Kittens are sluggish and have not fully developed vision. They are prone to be hit by fishing rod that is heavier than his body, or hit his body.
2. Plush toys: Most cats like them very much, but they have poor durability and are easy to lose.
Suitable for cats: kittens, young cats, adult cats. Note that elderly loose teeth cats may be unable to bite, which may affect the cat's oral function.
3. Laser pointer. Some cats will even know that the laser pointer in the owner's hand will emit light, and keep scratching the owner's hand to control the laser pointer.
Suitable for cats: kittens to middle-aged cats.
Cat toys those are not suitable:
1. Refuse poor quality knit toys
Cats love to play with thread balls, but in fact it is very dangerous when cats play. Sometimes he will swallow the broken thread which will cause gastrointestinal damage. Or the thread wrap around the cat's neck, causing suffocation. Once a cat swallowed an entire ball of wool and got acute gastroenteritis.
2. Refuse assembled cat toys
Cats like to use toys as prey, and some assembled toys are particularly prone to drop small parts. Such as the eyes of many little mice, it is easy to fall and be eaten by cats.
3. Reject cat toys that are easy to get stuck
Many track toys will leave some gaps. These gaps are exactly the width of the cat's claws, which can easily cause the cat's claws to get stuck and unable to be pulled out. The cat will be frightened and then struggle, and severely will cause fractures.
4. Refuse noisy cat toys
Many toys capture the cat’s hunting mind with sounds, such as a mouse that responds to commands, a musical keyboard, or a screaming chicken that makes a sound when bitten. But it should be noted that some toys emit too high decibels, and the owner will also be harassed when sleeping.
